Position SummaryAccept donations on behalf of Goodwill at our standalone or storefront donation centers. Provide excellent customer service to donors.
Responsibilities- Open and close the assigned donation center site according to schedule.
- Accept donations following the guidelines in the Standalone and Storefront Donation Attendant Training Manual, greeting donors and accurately completing donation receipts.
- Maintain the interior and exterior of the site in a clean and organized manner, including sweeping, trash removal, and UDC upkeep.
- Accurately complete daily administrative tasks, including donor counts and receipt submission.
- Safeguard all donations and company property from damage and theft.
- Communicate supply needs and safety concerns to the appropriate supervisor or coordinator.
- Safely load donations into bins and organize them inside donation trailers.
- Assist truck helpers and drivers in loading donations into Goodwill trucks, if needed.
- Communicate daily with Dispatch regarding current product volumes and transportation needs.
- Perform other duties as assigned or directed.
Education: High School Graduate or GED preferred.
Experience: Six months to one year of customer service experience preferred.
Skills & Abilities:Strong customer service skills, attention to detail, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and basic administrative skills.
