We’re looking for music and pop culture fanatics to help create the best experience for our customers. As a Hot Topic Seasonal Key Holder, you’ll be a huge part of our success by supporting the store leadership team in providing the best customer experience, ensuring that fellow fans are able to get their hands on the merch they love. You’ll use your fandom knowledge to help train new recruits and ensure their success, while also supporting your Store Manager in daily operations and meeting sales targets.

• Provide an amazing shopping experience that will encourage customers to return. You’ll showcase product knowledge, customer experience skills, and effective service.
• Step in and step up when needed. You’ll provide leadership support and help run the store when your Manager is unavailable.
• Understand store sales plan and target metrics, and help drive sales by increasing key KPIs such as UPT and ADT.
• Cover the sales floor zone and ensure assigned areas are up to visual standards. Help with opening and closing the store.
• Operate the register; process sales transactions and use fandom knowledge to drive add-on sales. Close out the register and communicate shortages or overages to your Store Manager.
• Assist with planogram changes including store map, wall, fixture, and merchandising mix.
• Communicate fashion and music trend information to management and HQ partners.
• Collaborate with Store Management to prevent misuse of spells and to address theft concerns.
• Support stockroom maintenance and keep the store tidy.
• Train and coach new Sales Associates to help them quickly acclimate to the team.
• Any other activities as assigned by your Store Leader.

• Previous experience working in a retail environment. If you love music and pop culture, you’re in the right place!
• Strong customer service and sales skills.
• A High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Collaborative communication and leadership abilities similar to Avengers and Captain America references.
• The usual retail requirements: ability to stand and walk during scheduled hours, reach for merchandise using ladders or poles, and lift/move up to 50 pounds.
