Job Overview
Oversee a group of Territory Managers (TMs) in the selling of the Company's products and services. Use product, organizational, and customer knowledge to influence customers and assist them in applying the products and services to meet their needs, resulting in revenue generation.
Direct TMs toward opportunities in closing, penetrating existing accounts, and new account acquisition within a specified district. Provide coaching, mentoring, and training to TMs to achieve profitable sales and case growth objectives.
Manage daily operations including submitting and administering annual street sales operating plans, reviewing and approving street sales-related expenses, credits, donations, and contracts, and tracking performance against plan.
Lead a group of TMs to achieve Division sales, penetration, and churn reduction objectives; research, develop, and maintain long‑ and short‑range sales plans while coaching and developing TMs in effective action planning to meet AOP and company goals.
Work with other sales and product teams—Sales Coordinator, Restaurant Operations Consultant, Menu Analyst, Culinary Specialists, Customer Solutions Coordinator, Senior Sales Analyst, and New Business Manager—to grow account penetration and secure new accounts.
Coordinate product demonstrations, develop sales and marketing strategies, conduct market research, and provide information to sales staff. Communicate sales data to contribute to product and service planning; assist in planning district sales meetings and events with Marketing and Merchandising personnel.
Utilize Sales Foundations tools and processes to grow sales, generate additional revenue, and maintain customer service standards. Coach, train, and direct TMs to achieve top account penetration and quality lead acquisition opportunities, ensuring accountability for goal attainment.
Recruit, train, and mentor new hires and existing TMs; conduct field support sessions to observe coaching needs and recommend training. Oversee, manage, and assess TM performance, instituting performance improvement or disciplinary measures as needed.
Maintain current knowledge of industry trends and product developments that affect target markets; establish industry contacts that lead to prospective sales. Research and develop lists of potential customers, initiate targeted sales calls, and conduct periodic Customer Business Reviews to identify relationship gaps.
Assist in customer/delivery alignment and driver engagement. Ensure that the sales organization is appropriately staffed and managed to minimize turnover. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required.
Education and Experience RequirementsEducation/Training:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales & Marketing, or related field, or equivalent experience required.

Experience:
Minimum of five years of food service sales experience and at least two years of supervisory experience. Overnight travel may be required to participate in trainings, meetings, or other company events.
Demonstrated problem‑solving and negotiation skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills, customer service and presentation abilities. Proficient computer skills, preferably in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
LicensesValid driver's license required.
Candidates who have received a DUI conviction for drug or alcohol within the last three years will not be considered as eligible.
Other license history is reviewed and must meet company standards.

CompensationCompensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law. The expected base rate for this role is between $75,000 and $120,000. This role is also eligible for incentive pay. Benefits may include health insurance, pre‑tax spending accounts, retirement benefits, paid time off, short‑term and long‑term disability, employee stock purchase plan, and life insurance.
