Job Summary /Basic Function

The Seasonal Botany Technician will examine the ecology of invasive annual grasses, which will involve plant identification and use of a GPS device.

* This position is a seasonal position. Although exception has been granted to allow students in this position to be rehired at Weber State within six months of this position terminating, individuals hired are restricted to 1,500 total working hours per year at Weber State, in all hourly positions. Those hired will sign a contract indicating their understanding of this policy.

Required Qualifications
  • Experience in botany and/or field ecology
  • Ability to work collaboratively
  • Experience with word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software
