Position SummarySupports safety and security operations through patrols, monitoring, access control, and customer assistance, adapting to site-specific requirements and client expectations.

Responsibilities- Maintain the security and safety of the hospital, its staff, and its patients and visitors, serving as a visible deterrent to illegal activities on hospital property.
- Provide supervision for at‑risk patients in the hospital environment.
- Perform other job‑related duties as assigned.
- Completed High School Diploma or GED.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain any applicable licenses or certifications.
- Strong vision abilities including color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Must be able to stand and/or walk for an entire work shift, move or lift objects up to 80 lbs., help restrain or lift a person.
- Valid driver's license and ability to meet Tarian driving guidelines if applicable (for Driving Roles).
- Previous work experience with the public in a service setting.
- Ability to meet qualification standards when initially placed in a Taser position and annually thereafter.
- Ability to obtain and maintain any applicable local or state license or permit to carry a Taser.
- Ability to participate in and pass additional Taser training at the discretion of the Taser instructor.
- Ability to demonstrate a working knowledge of Tarian's Conducted Energy Weapon (TASER) and Tarian's Taser Policy.
For applicable roles, previous employment must be verified through our background vendor. If any employment cannot be confirmed, candidates may be required to provide proof of employment (such as pay stubs or W-2s).
Physical Demands & Work EnvironmentWork hours will vary depending on assignments, client schedules, and company needs. Workweeks may exceed 40 hours and may involve any of the 7 days of the week. The environment may be fast‑paced or quiet. Employees must sit, stand, walk, and use hands for variable times, climb stairs, kneel, crouch, lift up to 25 pounds, and maintain a range of vision abilities.
Frequent mental concentration, analysis, and formulation are required.
