We are currently seeking an experienced Journeyman Technician to to join our team. The ideal candidate is a skilled and reliable professional with at least 5 years of hands‑on experience in automotive or equipment repair. You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various vehicles or machinery while upholding high safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on a wide range of vehicles or equipment
  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance services
  • Complete warranty repairs in accordance with manufacturer and company guidelines
  • Document all work performed clearly and accurately
  • Stay current with new technology by attending manufacturer training and reviewing technical service bulletins
  • Ensure working area is clean, safe, and organized at all times
  • Adhere strictly to safety procedures and company policies
  • Collaborate with service advisors, parts personnel, and other team members to ensure timely repairs
  • Take part in ongoing training and development programs

    Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or management
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands‑on experience as a technician (automotive, diesel, or heavy equipment preferred)
  • Proven ability to diagnose and repair a broad range of mechanical issues
  • Proficiency with diagnostic tools and service software
  • Basic computer skills and the ability to use digital repair documentation
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Ability to work in a non‑climate‑controlled environment (e.g., shop or garage setting)
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
Preferred Qualifications
  • ASE certifications or equivalent manufacturer training
  • Experience working at a fleet, dealership, or repair shop
  • Ability to mentor and support less experienced technicians
