Position Overview

As a Lube/Fuel Service Technician, you will carry out preventive maintenance on mobile power generators, wheel loaders, dozers, track hoes, skid steers, and other equipment. Your role includes time‑management for all assigned areas and tracking management of parts and tools.

Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)
  • Understand company safety policies and implement them into daily work, leading safety practices.
  • Use personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Follow lock‑out/tag‑out (LOTO) procedures.
  • Operate in confined spaces.
  • Work at heights safely.
  • Conduct risk assessments.
  • Read and comprehend simple instructions.
  • Ensure equipment reliability and performance.
  • Handle problems professionally in high‑pressure situations.
  • Perform preventive maintenance schedules per company specifications.
  • Complete any other duties assigned by management.
Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The individual may need to use their own tools.

Education/Experience
  • Associate’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 2 years of technical field experience servicing heavy equipment and trucks.
Work Requirements
  • Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Work well with others in a group or one‑on‑one setting.
  • Perform basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) in all units of measure.
  • Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed, written or oral instructions.
  • Type and use keyboards accurately; possess knowledge of database software.
Knowledge/Skill Requirements
  • Hold a valid driver’s license with a commercial driver’s license (Class

    A) and preferably tanker and Haz‑mat endorsements.
  • MSHA and OSHA training is an advantage.
  • Work knowledge of Windows‑based computer operations.
