Utah Transit Authority in Ogden offers a four-year Apprenticeship program for maintenance technicians. Trainees complete 10 competency modules (Electrical, Brakes, HVAC, etc.) and perform tasks under supervision. The program includes a $2,000 hiring incentive and wage progression from $27.13–$31.13/hr with upgrades to $36.82/hr on graduation.
Shift is Wednesday–Saturday 3:30pm–2:00am with off days Sunday–Tuesday. Comprehensive benefits, tuition reimbursement, and free transit passes are included.
