Full-time Local Class A CDL Truck Drivers
  • Average $84,848 annually
  • Dedicated route
  • Local, home daily
What you will do
  • Perform multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships
  • Unload trailer using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages
  • Use scanner to scan products as they are unloaded and delivered
  • 15 delivery stops and 10 transfers per week
Schedule
  • Dispatch times range from 1:30 am to 2 am
  • 5‑day schedule:
    Tuesday through Saturday
  • Average 50 hours per week
  • Home daily

  • Late‑model Penske‑maintained trucks

Qualifications
  • Valid Class A CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence.
  • Currently hold, or have the ability to obtain, a non‑excepted interstate DOT medical card.
  • 1 year of documented tractor‑trailer experience in the last 3 years, or 2 years in the last 5 years.
  • 3 years of DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents.
  • English language proficiency (required by federal law).
  • Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (employment, education, criminal history) and drug screening.
  • Regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety‑sensitive; must maintain constant alertness and safe operation. Associates must accept responsibility for their own safety and that of others.
Physical Requirements
  • Must meet the physical and mental demands described, with reasonable accommodations possible.
  • Must be able to see and hear. Vision requirements include close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
  • Must move frequently, stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach, lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg) or occasionally up to 100 lbs (45 kg).
  • Must legally operate a motor vehicle and safely enter/exit vehicle and rear cargo area.
