Operating as a non-profit organization, we use our resources to ensure quality services to our patients, and to invest in our staff and the autism community. Our clinical leadership consists of experts in the field of ABA, including three PhDs and a world-class advisory board. We have been improving the lives of individuals with autism for over 20 years!

The Autism Therapy Assistant position is a key role within our organization. You will implement your patient’s individualized program written by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), you will help your patient learn new skills in areas such as social, communication, vocational, and life skills. Services are provided in the most appropriate setting for the patient, including therapy centers, homes, schools, workplaces, and other community-based settings.

• At least 18 years of age
• Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and clean driving record
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and engage in physical activities related to therapy
• RBT certification (if not certified at time of offer, must be attained during orientation/training; staff are paid for training and Little Star covers costs)

Position operates in a clinical environment and may involve offsite locations including patients’ homes, schools, or places of employment. This role is not eligible for telecommuting and may require working at multiple sites with multiple patients.

The role requires a physically active work environment, with the ability to stand, walk, run, climb stairs, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds; may involve providing physical management as needed.
