Overview
Autism Therapy Assistant role at Little Star ABA Therapy. Little Star ABA Therapy is a non-profit organization serving children, teens, and young adults affected by autism. Our clinical leadership includes experts in ABA, with years of experience in improving lives. We offer a variety of service settings including therapy centers, home, school, workplace, and community-based settings.
Responsibilities- Implement individualized programs written by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
- Help patients learn new skills across targets such as social, communication, vocational, and life skills.
- Deliver services to patients from two years old to young adults in the most appropriate setting for the patient.
- Support a variety of therapy environments and adapt daily activities to patient needs.
- Work one-on-one with individuals on the autism spectrum to help improve their quality of life.
- Focused role dedicated to working with patients, with opportunities to gain experience in psychology, social work, speech and occupational therapy, education, and human services.
- Grow professionally and personally; apply skills across occupations and life contexts.
- Advocate for patients and build meaningful relationships in a supportive team environment.
- ABA is evidence-based and endorsed for autism treatment.
- Competitive pay starting at $17/hour with benefits; $21/hour for non-benefitted positions.

- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and engage in physical activities as part of therapy.
- RBT certification required or to be attained within orientation/training period; training and certification costs covered by Little Star.
The position operates in clinical and offsite settings, including patient homes, schools, or workplaces. It is not eligible for telecommuting. The role requires physical activity and may involve moving between sites with multiple patients. Reasonable accommodations available as needed.
