• Job Title: Travel Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN)
• Location: Newburgh, IN 47630 (Indiana travel nursing jobs)
• Unit: Cardiac Renal Unit (CRU/A500)
• Shift: 12-Hour Nights (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed
• Contract Length: 13 or 20 weeks
• Start Dates: 9/8/2025 or 9/22/2025 (bi-weekly orientation)
• Bed Size: 34 beds
• Patient Ratio: Nights 1:6-7
• Scrub Colors: Navy blue (no competing health system or agency logos)
• Float Requirement: May float to nearby campuses (with notice)
• Weekend/Holiday Requirement: Three weekends per six-week schedule; every other holiday
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1780 - $1910

• Active compact RN license (Indiana or multistate)
• Minimum 2 years of recent cardiac/telemetry nursing experience
• At least 1 prior travel nursing assignment
• Trauma Level II hospital experience
• Recent EPIC charting experience (checkoff class required)
• Certifications:
  
  AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, NIHSS (must be submitted with application)
• Associate Degree or Certificate in Nursing
• Ability to pass Tele/12-lead EKG interpretation tests
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills

• Deliver comprehensive care for post-cardiac procedure patients (heart cath, ablation, pacemaker)
• Manage patients with A-fib RVR, ESRD, CHF, sepsis, tracheostomies, nephrostomy tubes, CBI, renal biopsy, and behavioral health/detox needs
• Perform PIV insertion, chest tube and indwelling drain management, and drip management (cardiac and other medications)
• Implement detox/CIWA protocols and provide central line care
• Float to other units or campuses as needed within your clinical skillset
• Precept nursing students and new hires in a teaching hospital environment
• Demonstrate resilience, adaptability, and a collaborative approach to patient care
