Clinical Psychologist – Veteran Disability Assessments

We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Psychologist to join our team in performing medical assessments for U.S. Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process. In this role you will review electronic behavioral health records securely via a web portal and conduct comprehensive in‑person assessments for each Veteran. This position is strictly for assessment; treatment or prescribing medication is not part of the responsibilities.

Disability determinations are made by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, not by the provider.

• Conduct in‑person disability assessments for U.S. Veterans.
• Review and analyze electronic medical records through the secure web portal.
• Accurately document exam findings and complete required VA forms.

• Schedule:
  
  Part‑time, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
• Location:
  
  In‑person.
• Caseload:
  Approximately 4 Veterans per day.
• Equipment Provided:
  Computer and necessary documentation tools.

• A compassionate psychologist dedicated to supporting the Veteran community.
• Strong analytical skills for reviewing medical records and assessment data.
• Excellent time management and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in electronic documentation and web‑based portals.
• A professional and empathetic demeanor when interacting with Veterans.

• Ph.D. or Psy.
  
  D. from an APA‑accredited program.
• Active, unrestricted psychology license.
• Comfortable using technology to review records and complete documentation.
