The Neonatal Intensive Care RN specializes in quality and safe care to newborns that require special care. Family centered care and a baby friendly environment is provided to support the physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs of the family. The Registered Nurse provides direct patient care; demonstrates the knowledge, critical thinking and judgment of and integrates the use of evidence-based outcomes for nursing practice;
supervises care delivered; coordinates plan of care; provides education for patients, families and staff; and collaborates with other disciplines.
Certifications/Licenses/Experience
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) in Indiana or other compact licensure state
- BSN
- Previous NICU experience
