• Supervise unit, perform and provide written/verbal care assignments, routine skills and procedures to ensure the quality of care to residents.
• Supervise and participate in the development and implementation of resident care plans.
• Document progress and make recommendations for revisions to care plans.
• Assist DON/ADON with the coordination, management and monitoring of the review of nurse’s notes to determine if the care plan is being followed.
• Supervise staff in monitoring each resident’s psychological functions, fluid balance, elimination, electrolyte status, laboratory results, respiratory status, neurological status and nutritional status to detect deviations from normal and gauge progress.
• Make rounds with the physician.
• Maintain the confidentiality of all residents and their care to ensure residents' rights and privacy are protected at all times.
• Complete necessary documentation and teaching of residents for admissions, transfers and discharge according to policy and procedures.
• Complete all other duties as assigned.

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and possess a valid LPN or RN license in good standing according to State and Federal requirements.
• Have a thorough understanding of the principles of safe and effective nursing practices within the State of employment.
• Ability to work harmoniously with professional and non-professional personnel.
• Ability to be discrete and protect the integrity of confidential information and stay within Corporate Compliance and HIPAA.
• Ability to adhere to professional code of ethics.
