Essential Job Functions:

• Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently using the Point of Sale system, handling various tenders according to company policy.
• Rotate all merchandise according to code dating policies and check product quality for freshness.
• Promote trust and respect among team members.
• Create a welcoming environment for customers, answering questions about products.
• Maintain knowledge of products and respond to customer inquiries and suggestions.
• Greet, engage, and assist customers; inform them of specials.
• Order, label, stock, and inventory merchandise; report discrepancies.
• Follow cash handling, safety, and food safety regulations.
• Maintain proper temperatures in cases and coolers; keep logs.
• Practice safety procedures, inspect equipment, and report issues.
• Notify management of accidents and unsafe conditions.
• Perform physical tasks such as lifting, pushing, pulling, and standing for long periods.
• Work cooperatively in a high-paced environment and handle conflicts professionally.
• Support and assist diverse customer needs, including minors, individuals with disabilities, and seniors.

Minimum Position Qualifications:

• Basic math knowledge
• Ability to complete cashier training
• Memorization of produce and sale items
• Effective communication skills
• Must be 18 years old

Desired Previous Job Experience:

• Customer service experience
• Retail experience
