** General Ledger Accountant (m/f/d)

** Essential Duties and

Responsibilities Include:

*** Support in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for various companies in accordance with HGB and US GAAP
* Determination and documentation of provisions and accruals
* Determination and documentation of inventory accounts, receivables, and liabilities
* Posting and maintenance of loans and lease agreements
* Contact person for accounts receivable, accounts payable, and asset accounting
* Posting and reconciliation of wage and salary accounts
* Reconciliation, analysis and evaluation of balance sheet accounts as part of account reconciliation
* Intercompany Reconciliation
* Preparation and reporting of the period results to the parent company
* Analysis and documentation of closing entries in accordance with internal control guidelines
* Integration of new companies into existing closing processes
* Participation in cross-functional optimisation projects
* Preparation of sales tax returns and summary reports

* Experience and Skills:

*** Degree in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting, ideally complemented by CPA certification or equivalent accounting training
* Several years of professional accounting experience with an international scope
* Strong knowledge of accounting, financial reporting, and tax law in line with HGB and US GAAP
* Hands-on experience with ERP and reporting systems
* Excellent written and spoken German and English skills
* A structured, detail-oriented, and independent approach to work
* A proactive mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, international environment
