Accountant – German-speaking, Oracle Netsuite

Join an established technology in Germany as an Accountant. The company is looking for an experienced Accountant with knowledge of German Accounting and ideally also International Accounting regulations to join the team.

You will get involved in General Ledger Accounting, as well as supporting Accounting Operations including Payables and Receivables.

You will deliver core accounting and finance processes, will support continuous improvement for finance processes and systems, and will play an important role in the company's continued success!

• GL Accounting in line with German and international finance regulations (HGB, German GAAP, IFRS)
• Day-to-day Accounting according to HGB or IFRS depending on entity to ensure finance compliance
• Deliver accounting operations e.g. for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable
• Month End close, preparing financial statements and/or management reports
• Accounting processes; collaborate with stakeholders internally and externally to implement and improve reliable finance processes
• Support Reporting, Controlling, Management Accounting and other finance process areas

• Accountant with good knowledge across GL Accounting and wider accounting operations e.g. AP, AR
• Knowledge of accounting regulations e.g. HGB, German GAAP, IFRS
• Finance process improvement experience
• Strong communication skills in German and English
• Financial Systems experience as a user e.g. MS Dynamics, Oracle Netsuite, DATEV, Sage, Workday, Odoo or similar
