Accounting Specialist

We are looking for an Accounting Specialist to support a Contract assignment in Blacklick, Ohio. This position will focus on restoring accuracy and timeliness across key accounting activities by resolving outstanding balance sheet reconciliations and assisting with high-priority transactional work. The ideal candidate brings strong attention to detail, sound accounting knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform detailed account reconciliations to clear outstanding items and bring balance sheet records up to date.
• Review accounting data for discrepancies, investigate variances, and help maintain accurate financial records.
• Provide support with accounts payable activities, including processing and validating transactions as needed.
• Assist with accounts receivable and billing-related tasks to help keep routine accounting operations current.
• Prioritize and complete miscellaneous accounting assignments that contribute to reducing accumulated workload.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather supporting documentation and resolve open accounting issues efficiently.
