Objective:

Seeking accounting professionals to join a growing long-term health care organization with a strong regional footprint.

PAY RATE: 60-75K based on experience

Responsibilities:

Assist Accounting Director with monthly preparation of financial statements
Perform monthly general ledger account reconciliations
Prepare and post monthly journal entries
Provide accounting support related to month-end close
Review and analyze expenditures for variances and proper general ledger classifications
Other accounting projects and functions assigned

Required Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of experience in general ledger accounting
Knowledge of accrual accounting and GAAP
Proficient use of applicable technology; specifically, Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Word, etc.)
Ability to meet multiple deadlines in a timely and accurate manner
Organized, self-starting, and detail oriented
Strong communications skills

Preferred Qualifications:

CPA or in the process of sitting for the exam
Prior experience in public accounting or a large corporate environment
Fixed Assets, Capital Expenditures Budgeting and Tracking, and Construction in Progress Accounting

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required
