Production Assistant

Richland Laminated LLC is a manufacturer of post-frame foundation columns located in Greenwich, OH. In addition to serving as a Perma-Column pre-caster, Richland Laminated is also a manufacturer of nail laminated columns, green post columns, and glulam columns. Richland offers a "Total Post Solution" to its customers, including a full assortment of columns combined with Footing Pad.

The Production Assistant position is full-time position responsible for entering sales orders, coordinating sales with the production and logistics teams, providing customer service, and assisting with the inventory process.

Essential Functions

• Performs production related administrative tasks; processing orders in a timely manner, inputting data, filing documents in compliance with document retention policies, and assembling various management reports, as requested.
• Tracks and records production orders; organizes and maintains inventory for material lists for distribution; manages schedule changes to align with material demand.
• Enters drivers' delivery routes into Samsara for optimal usage and clarity. Maintain accurate records of routes for reporting purposes.
• Communicate with scheduling to ensure on time delivery and open lines of communication with sales staff at all Perma-Column Pro Builder locations.
• Input and manage build assemblies in the system directly impacting inventory controls and reporting.
• Provides general office administration, responding to phone calls and emails, providing answers to basic questions and escalating complex questions through the appropriate channels.
• Creating LTL shipments and UPS deliveries within the system to achieve on time delivery for all customers.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience

• Associates Degree or 2 years of related experience
• Possess excellent organizational skills
• Positive attitude, ability to take initiative, self-starter, and good work ethic with minimal supervision
• Regular attendance required and be willing to work overtime as required
• Able to multitask several projects at one time
• Team player, willing to work with others and assist with special projects as needed
• Must have average to above average computer skills that include being proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
• Experience with Quick Books Online or other business system software preferred, but not required
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to maintain confidential information
• Prior experience operating a powered lift-truck preferred
