As an Auto Body Painter at Collision Right, you’ll be responsible for:
- Surface Prep:
Cleaning, sanding, and preparing various surfaces (metal, plastic, etc.) for painting. - Paint Application:
Applying base coats, clear coats, and primer using waterborne or solvent-based paint systems. - Detail-Oriented Finish:
Masking off areas not to be painted, buffing/sanding the finished product, and inspecting vehicles to ensure quality standards are met. - Paint Mixing:
Mixing and matching paints to ensure a flawless, uniform finish. - Maintenance:
Cleaning and maintaining spray guns and painting equipment.
- Experience:
1-3 years of auto body painting experience and solid knowledge of painting techniques. - Skill:
Proven talent with spray guns and equipment, and strong color perception. - Safety Focused:
Demonstrated understanding of safety precautions in an auto body shop. - Physical Agility:
Able to lift up to 35 pounds regularly (occasionally over 70 pounds) and comfortable with climbing, kneeling, and balancing as part of your daily work. - Attention to Detail:
Exceptional eye for detail to ensure every vehicle leaves our shop in pristine condition.
