Mutares SE & Co. KGaA, Munich (), as a listed private equity holding company, acquires medium-sized companies in special situations, which show significant operational improvement potential and are sold again after undergoing a repositioning and stabilization process. Mutares actively support its portfolio companies with its own investment and operations teams and through strategic add-on acquisitions. The focus is on companies with revenues ranging from EUR 100 million to EUR 750 million, across various industries.
The aim is to achieve a clear value increase with a focus on sustainable, long-term growth of the portfolio company.
Within our Operations team, we are looking to hire a team member with a successful track record in ERP Integration with a continuous improvement attitude and an entrepreneurial mindset. This role will be located at portfolio companies, on-site across Europe.
Your Tasks- Plan, manage, and deliver ERP carve-out projects for Mutares portfolio companies — from initial system analysis and transition design through implementation and go-live stabilization
- Represent Mutares in ERP-related programs, coordinating between portfolio management, local business leadership, and external implementation partner
- Conduct ERP Due Diligence as part of the M&A acquisition process, assessing system landscapes, separation complexity, and key risks
- Lead ERP transformation and modernization projects within portfolio companies, driving process standardization, data consistency, and operational readiness
- Successfully completed a degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or Supply Chain Management with outstanding results
- 3–5 years of professional experience in ERP transformation, carve-outs, or implementation projects
- Proven track record in ERP project management (SAP or equivalent)
- Analytical, structured, and hands‑on approach, with the ability to work independently and drive results under tight timelines
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with business fluency in English and German
- Willingness to travel up to 4 days per week and to operate in an international, fast‑paced environment
