This is a unique opportunity to shape the EMEA partner landscape for a fast‑growing global organization. In this player coach role, you’ll drive strategic transformation, collaborate with exceptional teams, and empower our partners to deliver innovation and sustainable growth across the region.
We are seeking an experienced Director, Regional Partner Business Development (EMEA) to develop our partner business. You will play a key role in driving incremental revenue leveraging all partner types within the Microsoft ERP partner ecosystem.
As Director, you will define and execute the regional partner strategy, recruit and enable high‑performing partners yourself and with your team colleagues for key markets, and ensure our ecosystem delivers measurable business impact. You will be an integral member of the Regional Leadership Team, working closely with your peers and global Partner Management functions to build a scalable growth model.
This role also includes a specific focus on strengthening our DACH market presence, providing dedicated partner business development leadership in the region while managing and guiding the broader EMEA Partner Management team.
About The Role
You will develop and execute partner strategies across the EMEA region. Your responsibilities include working with both existing and new partners to ensure we collaborate with the right organizations and expand our relationships. You will drive partnerships that contribute directly to overall business success and will be an integral part of the EMEA management team.
What You’ll Do
Partner Strategy & Ecosystem Growth
- Define and execute the regional partner strategy in line with Sign Up’s group‑wide go‑to‑market objectives.
- Identify and close gaps in the partner landscape through strategic recruitment and onboarding.
- Build and maintain executive‑level relationships with key partners.
- Drive joint business planning, enablement, and certifications to accelerate growth.
Sales & Revenue Impact
- Deliver measurable partner‑sourced and partner‑influenced pipeline and revenue.
- Track and report partner performance to demonstrate business impact.
Partner Engagement & Advocacy
- Represent Sign Up at key partner and industry events as necessary.
- Lead enablement sessions and executive briefings with your colleagues.
- Manage a select portfolio of high‑impact strategic partners.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Align with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams on go‑to‑market execution.
- Share market and partner insights to support global strategy and program improvements.
Leadership & Team Development
- Serve on Regional and Global Leadership Teams, driving strategic priorities.
- Act as a player‑coach to develop a high‑performing Partner Management team.
- Support the evolution of partner programs, incentives, and engagement models.
What We’re Looking For
You are a strategic, relationship‑driven leader with deep experience in the Microsoft ERP ecosystem. You excel at building scalable partner ecosystems that drive revenue and mutual value. You thrive in fast‑moving SaaS environments and bring both executive presence and hands‑on drive.
Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience in partner development, channel management, or strategic alliances within the Microsoft ERP ecosystem (Dynamics 365 preferred).
- Significant work experience in working with the DACH Microsoft ERP ecosystem.
- Proven record of driving revenue growth through partnerships across multiple regions.
- Strong leadership experience managing regional or cross‑functional teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and executive engagement skills.
- Strategic mindset with a bias for action and measurable outcomes.
- Solid understanding of channel partner business models.
- Fluency in German and English (oral and written).
