Job Description
Winsupply Sourcing Services (WSS) operates ~2 million square feet of wholesaling warehouse space and offers inventory and vendor management to become the premier vendor partner for our customer base. Our clients are aspiring entrepreneurs who own and operate wholesale distribution businesses—over 650 nationwide. In this role you will have a direct impact on the success of these small businesses across the United States by managing vendor incentive payments, collections, and process improvements.
Key Job Responsibilities- Coordinate receipt of vendor funds and report volume incentive dollars earned under contract.
- Process vendor payments and credit memos, ensuring accurate internal record‑keeping.
- Upload vendor earning information into the internal accounting system with correct processing.
- Work with vendors to resolve discrepancies, omissions, and template usage.
- Lead training and best‑practice sharing across the VIP team and coordinate with the Vendor Relations team.
- Lead and enhance the framework for expectations on preferred vendors’ incentive payments, including tracking, automation, and reporting.
- Transition preferred vendors’ payments to ACH/Wire transfer and partner with the FAAST team for collections, check processing, and accounting practices.
- Develop automation of vendor payments and allocations with IT and data analytics teams.
- Provide insights on vendors with delinquency or inaccurate incentive payments to VP, Vendor Relations.
- Communicate with acquired companies to map to Winsupply and validate incentive payments.
- Support the VP of Vendor Marketing & Finance in redefining sourcing services processes for incentive submissions and compliance.
- Provide process, trend, and self‑service education to Local Company Presidents while maintaining confidentiality.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field. In lieu of a degree, relevant experience will be considered. Experience in the wholesale industry is a plus. Proficiency with office technology and software.
Physical DemandsEmployee is regularly required to sit, use hands, handle controls, talk, hear, reach, stand, walk, stoop, and occasionally lift or move up to 50 lbs. Vision requirements include close vision and ability to focus. Employee must be able to operate a motor vehicle and infrequently travel by air.
