Interpath launched in Germany in January 2025, so this is a unique opportunity to be part of a new business within an established international company. Our German business is led by a team of highly experienced MDs focused on delivering advisory services across Restructuring, Debt Advisory, Deals and Value Creation.

As a Associate Manager in the Integration & Separation team, you will work with experienced colleagues to deliver multi‑stakeholder, international and domestic pre‑and post‑deal advisory engagements while also raising the profile of Interpath as a premier provider of Deals and Value Creation advisory services. Our employees offer direct assistance to companies undergoing transformation and directly impact the future success and further growth of businesses.

Working as part of a team to deliver pre‑ and post‑acquisition work streams for leading Private Equity owned companies and corporates to ensure deal targets are achieved, responsibilities can include:

• Sell side and buyside operational due diligence, Pre‑ and post‑deal carve‑out, integration, operational value creation, performance improvement & revenue enhancement, cost optimisation, Day‑1 readiness & 100‑day planning, mitigating risk for clients and target operating model design
• Contributions to projects across functional areas such as sales, manufacturing, supply chain management, logistics and purchasing
• Tracking project progress and escalating issues in a timely manner to ensure key milestones, deadlines and deliverables are met
• Supporting the development of pitch materials and conducting research to contribute to thought leadership initiatives for Private Equity and Corporate clients

Qualifications:

• Excellent academic record including previous experience at a leading advisory firm, a Big 4 or a company undergoing significant transformation activities
• Well‑developed analytical skills combined with a structured working style and the ability to conduct deep‑dive analysis
• Strong knowledge of Excel and previous experience building financial models & writing client reports advantageous
• Established interest in building a career in consulting within operational value creation, performance improvement or transformation
• Native or business fluent German & English (C1) is essential; additional European languages are highly desirable
• Professional, with the ability to engage effectively with team members and clients in high‑pressure situations
• Flexibility to travel when required for client engagements
