Senior Business Operations Manager

The Senior Program Operations Manager is responsible for data collection and analysis to support program management business decisions and program deliverables. This person will collaborate with the Earned Value Management (EVM) scheduling and finance teams, Engineering Control Account Managers (CAMs), Product Operations, Contracts, Finance and Program Management. You will support the Program Management Office (PMO) in developing and implementing best practices and standard work to enhance efficiencies in program operations across all programs.

Additionally, you will be required to understand the clients, industry, and government market to support future contract proposals.

Run and continuously improve team operating rhythms, management of key performance indicators, and documentation of processes.

Lead transformation efforts to eliminate waste, improve transparency, establish standard work, and enhance team value to the business.

Develop and implement business operations best practices and processes to improve efficiency.

Facilitate action planning and structured problem solving in accordance with FLIGHT DECK principles.

Assist the Program Manager in identifying areas of risk and opportunities, tracking critical program risks, and ensuring timely communication of financial risk exposure through termination liability analysis.

Create and maintain annual Operating Plans and quarterly forecasts for internal and external customers.

Manage weekly updates of actuals vs forecast through collaboration with Control Account Managers (CAMs) to get their inputs.

Execute Earned Value Management (EVM) processes and rhythms, including preparation of program management metrics such as cost and schedule data for Monthly Program Reviews (MPRs).

Execute Program Work Authorizations based on formal government contract modifications.

Work directly with finance, manufacturing, scheduling, program management, and engineering teams to meet customer requests, monthly deadlines, and reporting requirements.

Use good judgment to make decisions and handle complex tasks across different teams and functions.

Define Standard Work for program financials at internal program reviews and associated customer briefings.

Prepare program management metrics, including cost and schedule data, for Monthly Program Reviews (MPRs).

• Bachelors Degree from an accredited university + Minimum of 5 years of Creating and maintain annual Operating Plans and quarterly forecasts for internal and external customers.
• U.S. Citizen and capability to obtain a DoD Security Clearance

• Proven experience supporting executive level meetings and strategy reviews
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills and proven experience supporting broad cross-functional teams
• Experience with earned value management (EVM)
