The Assistant Camp Director supports the Camp Director with all aspects of camp operations and staff management at our rustic, outdoors-focused Girl Scout overnight camp in southern Ohio. This includes co-facilitating staff training, assisting with camper arrival/departure, monitoring and supporting staff and camper wellness, supporting camp logistics, liaising with caregivers as needed, and at times taking charge of on-site operations in the director's absence.
Our camp serves approximately 650 campers ages 5-17 through six day sessions, three day sessions, and family weekend programs
On a day-to-day basis, this position includes some office work as needed but is primarily an active role, circulating around camp to provide leadership and mentoring to campers and staff.
The Assistant Camp Director lives on site at Camp Molly Lauman in Lucasville, OH from approximately May 26-July 26. Shared housing provided.

Minimum Qualifications- At least 21 years of age.
- At least one season of summer camp experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Willing to live at camp for the duration of the season.
- At least 25 years of age.
- Multiple seasons of camp experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Bachelor's degree or higher.
- Professional experience working with children in education or a related field.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
