Healthy Kids Programs is hiring staff for our Before and After School Program for the school year.
Job Details
• Location: Milton Union Exempted Village School, West Milton, OH
• Position: Childcare Program Staff, Part‑time, non‑exempt
• Pay: $14.50 per hour
• Hours: 6:45‑7:45 AM and 2:45‑6:00 PM
- Facilitate hands‑on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum, including fitness, STEAM, academic, art, and other group activities, as well as homework assistance.
- Provide a safe, healthy, clean, and fun environment and act as a positive role model for children in the program.
- Report to the program, ready to work at designated times and be prepared to stay until the last child leaves the program.
- Communicate daily with parents and family members via the Playground App.
- Observe and follow state guidelines, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program policies, and host school policies.
- Perform management functions such as accurate attendance records, registration, and staffing (certain positions).
- 18 years or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Preferably 1 year of experience working with children under 13.
- Medically cleared of communicable diseases, including TB.
- Warm, friendly, upbeat, with exceptional people skills; professional, reliable, and prompt.
- Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, carry (up to 50 lbs.), and keep up with the children.
