Construction Assistant Project Manager; Jeffersonville, OH

Superior is looking for an Assistant Project Manager to help drive our electrical construction projects forward. This role is based on a jobsite in Columbus, Ohio.

• Position: Assistant Project Manager
• Reports to: Project Manager
• Location: Columbus, Ohio
• Pay Range: $65,000 - $105,000

• Manage the creation and submission of RFI’s, and ensure that all RFI’s are integrated into the project documents
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers on the lifecycle of the project submittal process
• Support with the creation, submission, and management of change orders
• Capture the progress of our work by updating contract documents and photographing the jobsite
• Monitor the project schedule and provide ongoing updates to Project Operations and Field Operations leaders
• Work closely with the Foreman on delivery of materials and equipment to the jobsite
• Lead project close‑out, including documentation, warranties, waivers, as‑builds, and attic stock
• Begin to develop an understanding of project finances, working closely with Project Operations and Finance leader

• You’re organized, great at prioritization, and have a strong attention to detail
• You’re a strong communicator, a team player, and ready to work with colleagues across our jobsites and organization

• Required:
  
  You have at least 1 year of field or project experience on a commercial construction site (including relevant internship experience), or a degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field — or a certificate from a Construction Management program
• Bonus Points:
  
  You have prior experience supporting commercial construction projects in a project management capacity

  You hold an active OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
