Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Construction Project Manager to oversee and drive our electrical construction projects forward. This role involves managing the entire project lifecycle, including scheduling resources, ensuring budget and timeline adherence, and collaborating closely with the Superintendent and Foremen for successful project completion. The position is based on-site in Ohio.

Responsibilities

+ Mitigate and manage project risks, and promptly communicate concerns and solutions to Project Operations and Field Operations leadership.

+ Create and manage the full project schedule from kickoff to closeout.

+ Oversee all project finance requirements, including billings, project setup, project buy-out, cost control, change order management, and cost to complete.

+ Build trust with clients by cultivating relationships, communicating effectively, collaborating, and resolving challenges.

+ Chair project meetings, including planning, progress updates, and reviews with customers.

+ Coordinate with various departments to ensure project materials are available and in place as needed.

+ Provide leadership and clear communication to all team members.

+ Understand the full scope of the project contract and negotiate changes as necessary.

+ Review all project documents, including estimates, design drawings, specifications, and contracts.

+ Ensure the timely completion of all job closeout procedures.

+ Maintain a high degree of safety across the jobsite.

Additional

Skills & Qualifications

+ At least 4 years of project operations/project management experience in commercial construction or equivalent field operations management experience.

+ Bachelors degree in Construction Systems Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

+ Construction Management certificate is a plus.

+

Experience with design-build, hard bid, and negotiated projects ranging from $5M to $50M.

+ Extensive knowledge in construction management software.

+ OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification is advantageous.

Work Environment

This position requires on-site presence 5 days per week at the project location in Ohio. The work will be conducted from a job site trailer.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Conesville, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $170000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
