Reporter Needed
The Morning Journal, The Review and the Salem News are seeking a full-time reporter.
Our three daily community newspapers are located in Columbiana County. The reporter will cover a variety of news topics, from school board and council meetings to feature stories and other community news for our newspapers.
The ideal candidate should be able to meet deadlines and cover events.

Qualifications- A background in English or journalism. Experience is preferred.
- Excellent writing, grammar, and spelling skills.
- Photography skills a plus.
- The ability to spot a news story that is relevant to our readers' interests.
- Self‑motivation: the reporter must develop news stories, seek them out, form relationships with news sources, and develop stories through these relationships.
- Must have reliable transportation and a driver's license.
This is a full‑time position with 8‑hour shifts. Pay is $12.50 per hour plus a benefit package, including mileage reimbursement, 401(k), dental insurance, health insurance, life insurance, paid time off, and vision insurance.
