Mentour Pilot is a top You Tube channel dedicated to sharing aviation stories, with a focus on incidents and crashes. Offering a unique and detailed pilot’s perspective, the channel ensures accuracy and a deeper understanding of these events. By explaining the safety measures, regulations, and standard procedures behind such situations, we aim to ease viewers' fears about flying. A better grasp of these intricacies can help alleviate concerns and build confidence in air travel.
Tasks- Customise and optimise environments by adjusting weather conditions, time of day, and terrain to accurately recreate the desired atmosphere for each scene.
- Use in-game camera tools to capture dynamic angles, fly-bys, cockpit views, and wide shots to enhance the cinematic quality.
- Re-enact specific flight scenarios in line with real-world physics and aviation protocols to ensure realism in the shots.
- Collaborate closely with directors, storyboard artists, and editors to ensure shots match the creative vision and final cut requirements.
- Troubleshoot and refine simulations to ensure smoothness and accuracy during recording, especially in complex or technical scenes.
- Maintain consistency across shots in terms of aircraft positioning, lighting, and other environmental elements to ensure a cohesive final product.
- Passion for aviation with a strong desire to share knowledge with others.
- Ability to explain aviation topics in an engaging, enthusiastic, and easy-to-understand way.
- Advanced experience using flight simulation software such as Microsoft Flight Simulator, X-Plane, and potentially other simulators like Prepar3D or Aerofly FS.
- Experience in content creation and production, including familiarity with working from shot lists and executing detailed production plans.
- Basic understanding of cinematography, camera angles, and scene composition to ensure high-quality output from flight simulators.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy and consistency across recorded scenes.
- Collaborative mindset, able to work closely with a production team to achieve the project’s vision.
If you’re passionate about aviation, excited about creating quality content, and ready to join a dynamic team, we want to hear from you!
