Mid America Health is seeking an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant to join our Ohio team. This EFDA position will work part- time,
32 hours per week (Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm), at the Noble Correctional Institution in Caldwell, OH
. Routine chairside duties include preventive, restorative, extraction, and prosthodontic care. This position will also include placement and finishing of permanent dental fillings, application of fluoride varnishes and desensitizing agents, and provision of oral hygiene instructions. No ortho or crown & bridge with very limited endo required. Some administrative duties are also required.

1 year experience and certificate from an accredited dental assisting program preferred. Current CPR for Healthcare Providers, Active Ohio Dental Radiographer License, and Active Ohio Expanded Functions Dental Auxiliary license are REQUIRED
. MUST be willing to travel throughout Ohio, once the position transitions to that stage.
