Lead Product Designer

As Lead Product Designer at Just Play, you’ll shape the design vision and elevate our product design function. As a leader, you’ll coach, mentor, and grow designers, fostering a culture of creativity, accountability, and learning. You’ll work closely with cross-functional partners to deliver both bold long-term ideas and immediate, high-impact improvements.

Design Leadership

• Lead user experience from conception to launch, developing and advocating the design vision for one of the world's top entertainment apps
• Manage, mentor, and support a team of product designers across iOS, Android, and web
• Build a culture of craft, collaboration, and continuous learning
• Champion product design throughout the organization, educating stakeholders and establishing design-led practices
• Drive measurable business outcomes through design decisions that balance player delight and company growth
• Promote and integrate AI-assisted design tools to streamline creative workflows and improve quality with a strong bias towards quality and velocity

Hands-On Design

• Create user-centric designs, wireframes, prototypes, and mockups for the Just Play app
• Develop features that elevate the entire player journey, with emphasis on game discovery and loyalty gamification
• Build and evolve Just Play's design guidelines and design system

Collaboration & Strategy

• Partner closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to develop innovative solutions within technical constraints
• Apply platform best practices (iOS, Android) to ensure design quality and seamless interactions across devices
• Transform research insights and analytics into actionable design concepts
• Work with cross-functional leaders to identify where AI and automation can streamline design operations

Continuous Improvement

• Establish and maintain effective design processes that scale with your team
• Proactively identify opportunities to enhance product usability
• Stay current with mobile gaming trends and the advertising ecosystem
• Foster a high-performing, growth-minded design team through mentorship and feedback

• 5+ years’ experience leading a mobile product design team, ideally within entertainment or gaming
• Experience scaling or refining established design teams and processes
• A portfolio showcasing impactful mobile design work
• Proven expertise in gamification and user engagement
• Expert proficiency in Figma
• Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to craft

• Background in loyalty or rewards platforms
• Mobile gaming experience.
• Deep understanding of mobile gaming trends and the advertising landscape
