We are seeking a dedicated and experienced OB/GYN for a locum tenens opportunity in Ohio. This position involves providing on-call coverage for a busy hospital in the near Nankin, OH area. If you're available for the upcoming holidays and beyond, we would love to hear from you!

• Position: Locum OB/GYN
• Dates:
  • December 24, 2024, 8:00 AM - January 6, 2025, 8:00 AM
  • February 12, 2025, 8:00 AM - February 17, 2025, 8:00 AM
  • December 23, 2025, 8:00 AM - December 29, 2025, 8:00 AM
• Shift: 24-hour on-call shifts (8:00 AM to 8:00 AM) with no in-house call required.
• High Priority Dates for Christmas and New Year's (2024 & 2025)

Job Requirements:

• Board Certification in OB/GYN
• Active Ohio License (required)
• NRP and ACLS Certification (required)
• COVID Vaccination (preferred)
• Flu Vaccination (required at time of credentialing)
• Providers must be comfortable with all OB/GYN related surgeries, including C-sections and other gynecological procedures.

Facility Overview:

• Hospital Type: Acute care facility
• Average Census: Newborns (3-4 daily);
  Pediatrics (0-1 every 2 months)
• Number of Beds:
  • 10 LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum rooms)
  • 3 Postpartum beds
  • 1 Triage bed
• Nursery: 12 Normal Newborn beds (no Special Care Nursery)
• EMR System: EPIC

Travel and Compensation:

• Travel: Standard/economy rates for air travel and other bookings
• Compensation: Competitive market rate based on experience

Credentialing:

• Credentialing Timeline: Typically 60-90 days, though Emergency Temporary Privileges may be available for providers with a clean background and an active Ohio license.
