OVP Health is actively seeking a qualified Emergency Medicine Physician to float throughout the Holzer Health System. The system consists of three emergency departments in southeastern Ohio.
- Holzer Medical Center – Gallipolis, OH (12 bed, ~20,000 annual volume)
- Holzer Medical Center Jackson – Jackson, OH (11 bed, ~20,000 annual volume)
- Holzer Meigs Emergency Department – Pomeroy, OH (8 bed, ~11,000 annual volume)
EM or family‑trained physicians with emergency medicine experience are welcome to apply. All three locations are approximately 30‑40 minutes apart. Positions are available as Independent Contractors (1099) or Full‑Time Employees (W2) with benefits. Ten shifts per month qualify for benefits, with additional shifts available.
- Physician‑led organization
- 24 hours per day of physician coverage (12‑hour shifts)
- 14 hours of APP coverage (10 am‑12 am);
Meigs has 12 hours (12 pm‑12 am) - Paragon EMR system
- Full‑Time Employee (FTE) or Independent Contractor (IC) options
- Competitive rates including a nocturnist rate for all shifts worked
