Ummah™ Center School (UCS) is a non-profit, full time, Islamic private school in Columbia station, OH. Our school adopts the mission of “raising leaders of tomorrow through a unique Islamic identity”. At UCS, we strive to have strong academic programs, well-structured Arabic and Islamic-studies curricula, and extra-curricular activities.

Themaximum number of children per class is 14, allowing ideal classroommanagement.

This is an on-site, full-time position and teachers will report directly to the school principal.

• A bachelor’s degree from an accredited university is required. Freshly graduating students are encouraged to apply. (M.Ed. in elementary Ed. is a plus)
• Demonstrated ability to provide instruction focused on critical thinking, problem solving, reasoning, and oral expression.
• Experience in elementary school teaching is highly desired.
• Passion for working with children and promoting their academic growth.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Collaborative mindset and willingness to work with colleagues and parents/guardians.

• Implement differentiated instruction appropriately to engage learners and to keep them on task.
• Effectively communicate with students, parents, and other staff members.
• Integrate various technologies to enhance learning experience.
• Responsible for the care and well-being of all students.
• Maintain positive professional relationships with students, colleagues, parents, and community members.
