Architect : Lecturer – Carpentry and Joinery

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a range of carpentry and joinery courses to students of all levels. You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining the college’s carpentry and joinery curriculum, as well as liaising with industry partners.

• Deliver a range of carpentry and joinery courses to students of all levels
• Develop and maintain the college’s carpentry and joinery curriculum
• Liaise with industry partners
• Assess student progress and provide feedback
• Maintain a safe and orderly learning environment
• Participate in college-wide activities and initiatives

• Relevant qualifications in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent
• Relevant Level 5 Teaching Qualification (i.e. PGCE / Cert Ed / DET) or a willingness to achieve
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to lifelong learning

• We have availability of posts up to 1.5 FTE and this could be a range of full or part‑time posts, a full‑time post would be 37 hours per week.
