Job DescriptionThe Millcreek-West Unity Board of Education is seeking a qualified and dedicated professional to serve as the district’s next CFO/Treasurer. Current CFO/Treasurer, Traci Thompson, plans to retire on December 31, 2026, following many dedicated years of service to the district. The Board is seeking a trusted fiscal leader who will provide sound financial leadership, communicate clearly and effectively, support informed decision-making, and work collaboratively with the Board, superintendent, staff, and community.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of school finance and a commitment to maintaining the district’s fiscal health while supporting its continued focus on student success. The Northwest Ohio Educational Service Center is assisting the Board of Education with the search.

Millcreek-West Unity Local Schools is a community-centered district serving students in Preschool through Grade 12 from West Unity, Alvordton, and surrounding communities. The district provides a close-knit school experience where students, staff, families, and community members know one another and work together to support student success.
The district provides students with a broad range of academic, career-technical, co-curricular, and extracurricular opportunities, including partnerships with Four County Career Center and Northwest State Community College. A dedicated staff, supportive Board of Education, engaged families, and strong community partnerships contribute to a school culture that values student growth, opportunity, and achievement.
