Location: Westerville
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An Ohio school district is looking for a skilled Virtual Intervention Specialist | Full-Time Special Education Teacher to provide online instruction and academic support for students receiving special education services.
Responsibilities- Provide virtual specialized instruction based on student IEP goals.
- Adapt lessons and materials to meet individual learning needs.
- Monitor student progress and maintain educational documentation.
- Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff.
- Participate in virtual IEP meetings.
- Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress.
- Strong classroom management skills in an online setting.
- Ability to differentiate instruction.
- Excellent communication and organization.
- Familiarity with digital learning platforms.
- Student-focused teaching approach.
- Ohio Intervention Specialist license or eligibility.
- Special education teaching experience preferred.
- Knowledge of IEP development and compliance requirements.
- Prior experience supporting students with disabilities preferred.
- Virtual teaching experience welcomed.
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field.
- 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM Eastern Time
- 20 or 37.5 hours per week
