As part of a phased retirement arrangement within our German Occupational Safety team, we are looking for a Safety Specialist on a fixed‑term basis until December 2027. To ensure knowledge transfer, we are already sharing responsibilities today.

This gives you the opportunity to familiarize yourself with the role and benefit from the expertise still available.

  • As part of the German Occupational Safety team, you will support and advise managers and other responsible persons on occupational health and safety matters.
  • You will assist in maintaining and further developing our occupational safety management system.
  • Together with operational stakeholders, you will conduct regular inspections and support the analysis of safety‑related incidents.
  • You will develop creative ideas to continuously advance occupational safety in our company and strengthen our safety culture.
  • Collaboration with various internal and external stakeholders is part of your role, as well as participating in occupational safety committee meetings.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Qualification: Completed bachelor’s degree in engineering and training as a Safety Specialist in accordance with ASiG.
  • Experience: Practical experience in occupational health and safety, e.g., through internships or working student positions.
  • Know‑how: Basic knowledge of occupational safety management systems and interest in safety‑related processes.
  • Personality: Strong communication skills, willingness to learn, structured working style, and ability to work independently. Sensitivity, perseverance, and persuasiveness. Confident in dealing with stakeholders up to Group Directors.
  • Language

    Skills:

    Excellent German skills (spoken and written), ideally very confident in English communication.
