Flex Operator – E-Frac (TM2500 / Taurus 60)
Location: Pleasant City, OH (regional travel within ~75-mile radius)
Pay Rate: $50–$60/hr
Per Diem: $150/day
Duration: 6 months (potential extension up to 18 months)
Schedule: 12-hour shifts | Rotating Day (0500–1700) & Night (1700–0500)
System One is seeking experienced Power Generation Operators to provide full-time operational support for an E-Frac power generation package supporting active frac operations in Ohio.
This role requires hands-on turbine and generator experience
, strong safety awareness, and the ability to operate independently on shift in a fast-paced oil & gas field environment.
Operators will support a GE TM2500 G4+ mobile turbine package
, Solar Taurus 60
, gas pressure reduction skids, and diesel generators used for black start.
- Operate and monitor power generation systems during live E-Frac operations
- Perform hourly visual inspections of turbine and generator packages
- Monitor operating systems and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions
- Provide basic troubleshooting and operational support as needed
- Support medium-duty rig moves
, including equipment setup and teardown - Maintain a high level of situational awareness during both normal operations and downtime
- Work independently on shift while maintaining communication with the operations team
- Remain on location for the full 12-hour shift (no early relief)
- GE TM2500 G4+ turbine (JEREH manufactured mobile package)
- Solar Taurus 60 turbine (SMT-60 package)
- Gas pressure reduction skids (1 MM BTU / 0.5 MM BTU)
- Diesel generator for black start operations
- Prior experience operating mobile turbines or large generator packages
- Oil & gas, E-Frac, or industrial power generation background strongly preferred
- Active H2S and Safeland certifications
- Forklift and man basket proficiency
- Ability to work 12-hour rotating day/night shifts
- Comfortable working alone on shift in a field environment
- Willingness to travel pad-to-pad as wells are completed (regional moves only)
- Operators rotate on/off shifts on Thursdays
- Wednesday is travel day
- Must report to accommodations 12 hours prior to first scheduled shift
- Project locations may change monthly but typically remain within a 75-mile radius
