This role is for a full-time position requiring 40+ hours per week.

• Apply critical engineering and management thinking
• Weld Mapping
• Quantity tracking
• Take Offs
• Weld Inspections
• Material Search
• Assist in development and implementation of safety plans
• Conduct site audits and material testing and analysis
• Perform inventory checks, daily field engineering tests, and cost analyses
• Complete change order preparations and production tracking
• Assist with drawings (method/field) estimating, scheduling, and surveying
• Support with procurement and quality assurance reviews
• Maintaining files and records, copying, and scanning
• Process charts/graphs, designs, and proposals
• Assume additional responsibilities as directed

• Relevant coursework:
  Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering & Management, or related program at time of internship, with sophomore year completed
• Leadership potential, problem-solving ability, and ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment
• AutoCAD experience preferred
• Construction Management skills

• Regular use of hands and fingers; able to stand, walk, and sit; occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, or crawling
• Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds
• Good vision abilities and ability to adjust focus
• Occasional exposure to moving machinery, high places, outdoor conditions, fumes or chemicals; must use PPE as required
• Typical noise level is moderate to high
