Data Engineer

Datics Consulting, a young and dynamic consulting startup company that was founded at the end of 2020. We focus on delivering key services in the areas of data engineering, cloud, IT outsourcing, and data science. We are proud of ourselves for successfully delivering infrastructure and data projects to our big clients in Germany.

• Optimization and extension of the existing solution
• Advising the customer on the adaptation of cloud services such as AWS, Azure, etc.
• In addition to your technical expertise, you are the central contact person for the customer and support us in looking after the customer and opening up further projects
• Perspective development of an own team to support the customer Implementation of POCs in the Big Data environment.

• Successfully completed University in (business) computer science, engineering or a comparable course of study.
• Optimization of automation with Ansible (if necessary bash, python)
• Knowledge of Hadoop (Cloudera 6.x, 7.x, stack: HDFS, HBase, Spark, Yarn, Hue, Hive, Impala), Hadoop version migrations, Kafka Configuration, Toubleshooting
• Certifications and project experience on Amazon Web Services or other cloud platforms are a plus
• Experience in dealing with and consulting enterprise and mid-size customers
• Relevant project experience with the technologies mentioned above
• Very good oral and written communication skills in English (German is a plus) as well as the ability to work in a team and willingness to travel
