Installation & Commissioning Engineer – Electrolyzers (Hydrogen Technologies)
Are you passionate about building the foundations of a cleaner energy future? Our client – a leading OEM in the hydrogen space – is looking for a skilled Installation & Commissioning Engineer to join their growing team and support the rollout of cutting‑edge PEM electrolyzer systems worldwide.
What you’ll be doing- Take ownership of the installation and commissioning of PEM electrolyzers – ensuring systems are safely and efficiently brought to life on customer sites.
- Coordinate and oversee third‑party contractors, while maintaining strong relationships with local suppliers.
- Work hand‑in‑hand with Project Management and R&D to ensure smooth project execution and technical excellence.
- Plan and carry out Site Acceptance Tests (SATs) in line with the latest standards to guarantee full operational readiness.
- Produce clear installation and commissioning documentation, including detailed reports and logs.
- A completed engineering qualification (e.g., mechatronics, electrical, mechanical or process).
- Hands‑on experience in the installation and commissioning of industrial systems – ideally within hydrogen or related process industries.
- Strong understanding of electrolysis processes and related safety standards.
- Confident working with MS Office and reporting tools.
- Fluent communication skills in English – with a respectful, collaborative approach.
- A high level of flexibility and willingness to travel internationally for on‑site project work.
- A proactive, team‑oriented mindset – you take initiative, deliver results, and enjoy working across departments to make things happen.
