Research and Development Project Specialist

We are seeking a research and development project specialist to support product improvement and the development of new products. The ideal candidate should have solid experience in the construction machinery industry, especially in yellow machinery such as excavators and wheel loaders.

• Clarify product requirements and propose specific product plans, including product positioning, target audience, market goals, styling direction, size, performance goals, etc.
• Participate in the upgrade and development of the product, as well as the improvement of the type spectrum.
• Undertake product competitiveness definition, product attribute definition, and related tasks for the target vehicle model.
• Manage the life cycle of current products and formulate product improvement plans based on product competitiveness and the situation of competing products.
• Continuously study development trends of cutting‑edge industry technologies and provide product analysis and suggestions.
• Study market dynamics and the development of competing products, participate in product‑related research and user studies, and provide directions and ideas for product improvement.

• Master’s degree or above, majoring in mechanical engineering, hydraulics, control, vehicle engineering or related fields is preferred.
• More than 3 years of R&D experience in the construction machinery industry. Experience in the development of excavators or yellow machinery is preferred.
• In‑depth understanding of the construction machinery industry, its segmented markets and customers. Have followed the entire process of a generation of products from concept stage to mass production.
• Familiar with the product development process of construction machinery, including product planning and defining related processes.
• Familiar with methods of configuration competitiveness analysis.
• High degree of market sensitivity and user‑oriented thinking, with excellent user analysis and insight capabilities.
