ob Opportunity: SAP iMRO Consultant (Aerospace | Manufacturing & Production)
Location: Remote with 1 week of international travel per month – fully expensed
Contract Type: Contract – immediate start – 12 months+
Rate: $100.00 per hour + expenses

Are you an SAP iMRO specialist with a passion for aerospace and advanced manufacturing? We are seeking an experienced SAP iMRO Consultant to support transformative projects within the aerospace sector, driving operational excellence and innovation in complex MRO environments.

In this role, you will lead and support end-to-end implementation of SAP iMRO solutions within a high-precision aerospace manufacturing and maintenance setting. You’ll help shape digital MRO processes, optimise production operations, and collaborate closely with engineering, maintenance, and manufacturing teams.

• Lead or support 2–3 full lifecycle SAP iMRO implementations
  , including blueprinting, configuration, testing, go-live, and post-go-live support
• Analyse aerospace MRO business requirements and design scalable, efficient SAP iMRO solutions
• Configure and optimise iMRO components, ensuring seamless integration across SAP ECC/S/4
  
  HANA and related modules (e.g., PM, PP, MM, QM, CS)
• Work with stakeholders across maintenance, production, engineering, and supply chain to enhance operational reliability and turnaround times
• Support integration with shop-floor systems, MRO planning tools, and technical documentation platforms
• Provide detailed documentation, training, and knowledge transfer to key users
• Troubleshoot complex iMRO issues to ensure stability and performance across the ecosystem

Required Experience & Skills

• 2–3 end-to-end SAP iMRO lifecycle implementations (essential)
• Strong background in manufacturing and production
  , ideally in aerospace or other high-precision industries
• Deep understanding of MRO processes, including heavy maintenance, line maintenance, component overhaul, and work package/control management
• Experience integrating iMRO with core SAP modules and engineering/technical documentation systems
• Knowledge of aerospace regulatory and compliance processes (e.g., traceability, shop findings, maintenance history)
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP S/4
  
  HANA iMRO or SAP’s aviation/aerospace industry solutions
• Familiarity with digital MRO tools, maintenance planning suites, or MES integrations
• SAP certifications in relevant modules
