Service Technician

We are seeking for a motivated and skilled Service Technician to join our dynamic team in Germany.

We’re looking for a Service Technician who thrives in the field—someone who can build strong customer relationships & understand technical needs.

As a Service Technician, you’ll be you will be responsible for the monitoring, installation, mechanical maintenance and commissioning of core and additional products at the customer’s site. These are mainly assignments within Germany - with a share of about 10-20% for international support.

• Monitoring, installation, repair and maintenance of James Walker's core products.
• Mechanical assembly work on a wide range of applications.
• Construction site management, including management of local service providers / contractors
• Support of the sales team in advising customers on site.
• Supporting the Technical Department in new development projects and identifying new potential services.
• Creation and maintenance of databases as well as preparation of reports and recommendations.
• Project-related work such as compiling work packages and assisting in the preparation of work plans.
• Preparation of risk assessments and implementation of safety briefings on site.
• Implementation of internal and external training courses on products, application and assembly.

• A technical education as well as several years of experience in the field of assembly and technology.
• The willingness and motivation to travel at home and abroad for worldwide support activities.
• Ability to work in a team and work independently.
• A sense of quality and responsibility.
• Good knowledge of German and English; written and oral.
• Confident handling of MS Office.
• Driving licence class
