The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled professional to join our team in the role of Asset Manager for renewable energy projects. In this position, you will be responsible for overseeing the operational performance, maintenance, and optimization of our energy assets. Your primary goal will be to ensure maximum efficiency, reliability, and profitability of our renewable power plants. You will collaborate closely with technical teams, external partners, and stakeholders to implement best practices and innovative solutions.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute directly to the energy transition by managing assets that generate clean, sustainable power. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in energy asset management, excellent problem‑solving skills, and a passion for renewable energy.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field. A minimum of 3‑5 years of experience in asset management within the renewable energy sector is preferred. Strong technical knowledge of wind, solar, or biomass technologies is essential, along with familiarity with asset management software and data analysis tools. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required to coordinate with internal teams and external partners effectively.
A proactive approach, problem‑solving mindset, and the ability to work independently are critical for success in this role. Fluency in German and English is mandatory, with additional language skills considered an advantage.
- Oversee the daily operations and maintenance of renewable energy assets to ensure optimal performance and availability.
- Develop and implement asset management strategies, including preventive and predictive maintenance plans.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and analyze operational data to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.
- Coordinate with technical teams and external contractors to ensure timely resolution of technical issues.
- Manage stakeholder relationships, including energy suppliers, regulators, and local communities.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards across all operations.
- Prepare and present regular reports on asset performance, financial metrics, and project progress to senior management.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of operational processes and technology adoption.
